John De Witt is President & Chief Executive Officer of De Witt & Associates and bears ultimate responsibility for performance of the firm under all of its assignments. He has been in the assistive technology field since 1978 when he joined the American Foundation for the Blind. In 1989, John left the AFB to form De Witt & Associates. Prior to that, he spent 17 years in network and public radio broadcasting. Simultaneously with his early years in radio, John pursued a conducting career following his graduation from the Juilliard School of Music where he obtained both his Bachelors and Masters Degree in choral conducting. John has written extensively on assistive technology and has a national reputation for this expertise.
